What is iJEAPS
iJEAPS – Information Management System
iJEAPS (Internet Job Entry and Processing System) is a recent innovation from
Booths; it has been purpose developed to improve the speed, accuracy, and ease
with which job information is received from clients, processed and acted upon
by our fleet, and managed by our office. iJEAPS
centrally manages all job information from enquiry through to invoicing to avoid
any re-keying and provide real-time reporting.
Able to be accessed from the web browser on any Internet connected PC, iJEAPS
gives clients the ability to enter new jobs directly into our system, and have
direct access to view the status and details for jobs already in the system.
iJEAPS can keep clients up to date with an e-mail notification once each job
is allocated to our drivers and when the job is completed. Similarly, invoices
and statements are provided via e-mail will a full history available.
- Key steps are:
- Job entry direct from client or via Booths' Office
- Booths' Dispatcher automatically notified of new job (email/TXT)
- Job allocated to appropriate Driver - automatically notified of details
by mini-PC or cellular phone (TXT)
- Booths' Office notified of completed job (TXT/email)
- Client automatically notified of change in status; can view job status,
details, and job lists at any time
- Booths Office checks details and approves invoice – issued to client
(e-mail) and viewable online.
File attachments can be stored directly with each job’s details within
iJEAPS; dockets/manifests can be scanned by Booths’ office and made accessible
online immediately that they are available.
The iJEAPS invoicing module allows clients to view invoices as they processed,
and view a complete invoice/payment history for their accounts.
GPS Tracking
Our fleet in combination with iJEAPS is currently
being equipped with GYPSY GPS tracking system; This will provide us with real-time
position updates at predetermined intervals. This allows us to see the current
position of any vehicle in our fleet, and also
view a full trip history.
- The integration with iJEAPS will provide our clients
with access to position information for currently active jobs, including:
- Live current position of truck - including prior to pick-up
- Full track of truck’s trip
- Time-stamped data points displayed - indicating approximate start (pickup)
and finish (delivery) times
- Zoomable to street level
- Archived history available on request
Electronic Data Interchange
iJEAPS is a fully adaptable system which has the potential to be further developed
to provide for electronic data interchange with our clients’ systems.
In addition to the real-time information and complete history that is viewable
at any time by clients, CSV outputs of key summaries are currently available.
We are interested in discussing automated access to inputs at the job entry
stage, through to outputs at the invoicing stage to maximize the efficiency
of the system. We are prepared to look at custom input and output data streams
using TCP/IP connections or XML.
