Joseph McAnnalley-Knight
Branch Manager - Masterton
I started my career in transport and logistics in 2017 with no prior industry experience, looking for a new direction. Since then, I’ve worked my way through the industry, gaining hands-on experience across multiple areas of operations and building a strong understanding of how to keep freight moving efficiently.
In 2022, I gained my Class 2 licence and joined Booth’s Logistics as a planner/driver, where I later progressed to gaining my Class 4 licence. After a short time, I moved into an Operations Manager role and have since stepped into a Branch Manager position.
Throughout my career, I’ve been involved in dispatching both linehaul and metro fleets, managing day-to-day operations, problem solving, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This experience has given me a practical, end-to-end understanding of the industry, from being on the road to running a branch.
I take a hands-on approach to leadership, working closely with my team and leading from the front. I value clear communication, accountability, and getting the job done right. I’m focused on delivering reliable service, improving performance, and building strong relationships with both customers and staff.

Pheonix O’Loughlin
Business Development Representative - Lower North Island
Pheonix has been with Booth’s Logistics since 2020, starting as a truck washer after school and on weekends. Pheonix has steadily worked his way through a range of roles, learning every aspect of the business.
During his time at Booth’s, he has gained experience in truck loading on both day and night shifts, truck driving, and warehousing, while also completing the Booth’s Cadetship programme. Most recently, he managed the linehaul division before transitioning into a sales role to broaden his knowledge of the business and continue developing his career.
