BOOTH’S LOGISTICS

Rangi has been in the transport industry since the late ’90s, starting in general freight before spending the past 20 years specialising in third-party logistics. He has extensive experience working with importers across storage, pick-and-pack, and nationwide distribution, and is skilled in multiple Warehouse Management Systems, ensuring full visibility of goods from arrival to delivery.

As an AP and TFO-approved operator, he has a strong passion for biosecurity, staying up to date with emerging risks and ensuring our Transitional Facility operates to the highest compliance standards.

Rangi joined Booth’s 2.5 years ago through the Anderson & Flowers acquisition and now plays a key role at our Porirua site, working closely with a major client importing raw materials from around the world.

Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, snorkelling, and a bit of DIY.

Katy didn’t come into logistics through the traditional sales route. With a background in people, performance and leadership across the transport sector and wider business environments, she joined Booth’s during a period of significant growth, stepping into the GM – People and Capability role and working closely with the leadership team across the network.

Seeing the business from the inside – the people, the customers and the operations – quickly drew Katy into the freight game and the challenge of keeping businesses and
supply chains connected.

Through supporting projects to strengthen Booth’s operating model and working alongside teams across the network, she built a strong understanding of how the
business operates in practice.

Today in Business Development, Katy brings that inside knowledge of the Booth’s network together with a strong focus on people and partnerships, working alongside customers to understand their logistics needs and connect them with the right people and capabilities across the Booth’s network to support their operations.
