BOOTH’S LOGISTICS

With 46 years of experience, Brian has worked his way through nearly every part of the transport industry. Beginning his career as a driver in Auckland before becoming an owner-driver and eventually running a fleet of 12 trucks for over a decade.

After selling the business, he took on a new challenge in the South Island with Auckland-based Top Tranz, where he helped establish their bulk liquid transport, storage, distribution, and container transport operations. During that time, they expanded from 6,000 sq ft to 44,000 sq ft of storage and built a bulk tanker fleet that peaked at 17 units, servicing meat works across the South Island and carting bulk tallow and palm oil.

Starting with just one truck and a swinglift, the operation grew to three swinglifts and four skeles, which he owned and managed for 12 years until Top Tranz South Island was sold.

Since then, Brian has managed several transport operations, including STL Linehaul, Central Southland Freight Winton, Austin Transport Services, and McEwan Bulk Transport, before joining Booth’s Logistics 2.5 years ago.

Sharon joined Booth’s Logistics almost four years ago and now looks after our customers across the South Island. With previous industry experience as a Business Development Representative, she brings 10 years of transport industry expertise and over 20 years of leadership in Countdown supermarkets and major retail chains.

This background has given Sharon a deep understanding of what customers need from a reliable freight partner and the importance of communication, consistency, and trust.

Passionate about building long-term partnerships, Sharon works closely with both existing and new customers, identifying opportunities to support growth and deliver tailored logistics solutions. She brings a strong commercial mindset and a wealth of business experience to Booth’s, helping ensure our customers receive the “Can Do. Will Do.” service we’re known for.
